Every girl becomes a women after their menstrual period is started. Each month, one of the ovaries releases an egg, a process called ovulation. At the same time, hormonal changes prepare the uterus for pregnancy. If ovulation takes place and the egg isn't fertilized, the lining of the uterus sheds through the vagina. This is a menstrual period. During which women undergo lots of diseases related to menstruation like

Now during this a women should always keep her body clean and the most basic for keeping her body clean is using of Sanitary Pad. A sanitary pad absorbs the bleeding and changes that to gel format. This keep a women free from many health problems Poor menstrual hygiene, however, can pose serious health risks, like reproductive and urinary tract infections which can result in future infertility and birth complications. Studies have found that giving out sanitary pads to girls leads to a significant reduction in sexually transmitted infections and bacterial vaginosis.

In India usage of Sanitary Pads is less than 20%. Talking about urban areas, only a less than 50% women use sanitary pads and usage of sanitary pads in rural parts of India is not even 15%.

When more than 20 Crores Indians sleep without having food in the night how can we expect them buy a sanitary pads? Antrorse Foundation is now working in this regards.
